Kentucky Hot Brown

Ingredients
- country French bread - 2 slices
- oven-roasted turkey breast - 3 slices
- roma tomatoes - 2 ea., roasted
- mornay sauce - 6 ozs.
- applewood smoked bacon - 2 strips
- parsley - 1 Tbsp., chopped
- smoked paprika - 1 Tbsp.
- 100-day aged gruyere - 3 ozs., shredded
- Ingredients for the Roasted Roma Tomatoes:
- roma tomatoes - 2 ea., whole
- bay leaf - 1 Tbsp.
- extra virgin olive oil - as needed
- salt - as needed
- pepper - as needed
- Ingredients for the Mornay Sauce:
- Butterball Farms butter sauce - 1 bag.
- cloves - 2 ea., whole
- bay leaf - 1 ea.
- white onion - 1/4 ea., peeled
- 100-day aged Gruyere - 3 ozs.
- parmesan cheese - 3 ozs., seasoned, grated
Instructions
Procedure for the Roasted Roma Tomatoes:
- Core tomatoes and slice in half lengthwise.
- Toss with oil, then season generously.
- Arrange on a baking sheet, face up. Roast at 450°F for 25 minutes.
