Cashew Brittle

Ingredients
- light corn syrup - 224 gms.
- sugar - 800 gms.
- water - 230 gms.
- butter - 226 gms.
- roasted cashews - 500 gms.
- baking soda - 1 tsp.
- salt - 3 Tbsps.
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp.
- chili powder - 4 Tbsps.
- pumpkin seeds - 24 ozs.
Instructions
- Transfer the brittle recipe to the iVario through ConnectedCooking.
- Add the corn syrup, sugar, water, butter and roasted cashews into the iVario pan
- Insert the core temperature probe to monitor the cooking process.
- Press the green check to start the iVario, which will automatically guide the process.
- When the iVario prompts you, add the baking soda, salt and vanilla extract. Then add chili powder and pumpkins seed to the mixture.
- Carefully pour the brittle mixture onto a prepared sheet pan lined with parchment paper, spreading it evenly.
- Let the brittle cool until it hardens. Sprinkle extra chili powder on top if desired.
- Once done, fill the iVario with hot water and bring it to a boil for easy cleanup.
